Amid the surge in COVID-19 cases, the makers of Manju Warrier starrer Chaturmukham have decided to withdraw their film form the theatres. The film was released in theaters on April 8. Now, with an alarming increase in the number of covid cases in the country, the makers thought it is best to take the film away from theatres and re-release when the situation is better.
“Dear ones, we are temporarily withdrawing our film ‘Chathurmukham’ from movie theatres considering the current situation all around and everyone’s health. We will definitely be back in theatres for you when it is safer, hopefully very soon,” wrote Manju Warrier.
The Malayalam film superstar also requested people to follow all COVID protocols and stay safe.
The techno horror film, first of its kind in Malayalam cinema, also stars Sunny Wayne and Alencier. The film was directed by debutante Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil V. Manju Warrier turned co-producer for the film along with Jiss Thomas and Justin Thomas.
